XR Stories required a series of 14 postcards to profile their creative projects to distribute at academic conferences. Each postcard built on XRStories’ established brand and communicated their complex projects concisely. Each postcard works independently and doesn't need to be viewed as part of the complete set to make an impact. While brand consistency was vital, there was room to stretch the uniformity of these postcards. Therefore, on the back of each card, a different grey and black pattern was applied underneath the white text. This provides an individual character to each card, subtly differentiating them when displayed as a group.
The cards resulted in in attracting the right talent to work at XR Stories and the University of York's technology department.
