Marketing & Event Design for National Geographic
How we delivered this spectacular London expo.
Abell Design was commissioned by National Geographic Traveller to deliver creative design for their 2019 food festival.
This included large-scale print design for billboards and stages, user-friendly signage and digital marketing graphics. Traditional print media also captured the attention of its audience by placing ads in London Underground tube stations and in The Metro. Each item had to follow the elegant National Geographic brand styling to create a quality brand experience for both the exhibitors and visitors.
The food festival was a huge success and is expected to be repeated in July 2021. This project was featured as part of IPSE's freelancer showcase on Linkedin.

“I had the pleasure of recruiting Grace to lead the design across our inaugural Food Festival at National Geographic Traveller. She worked on everything from show guides to stage artwork, picking up the brand ethos immediately and being able to apply a consistency across everything we produced. She was a safe pair of hands that bought a flair and energy to the work and was an integral part in the success of the event. I just hope we get to work together again in the future!”
